Common questions

What is a clan in MapRaiders?
A clan is a group of players who cooperate to claim and defend territory together. Clan members share territory goals, coordinate defense strategies, and build a collective presence on the map. Clans are formed organically through real-world encounters and shared play.
How do I create a clan?
Open the social menu in MapRaiders and select 'Create Clan'. Give your clan a name and color, then invite players from your friend list or from people you encounter on the map. The clan is active as soon as you have at least two members.
How do clan territories work?
When clan members claim adjacent territories, those areas can merge into a shared clan zone displayed in the clan's color. All clan members contribute to defending the shared territory, and attacks on clan land alert all members.
Can I be in multiple clans?
No. Each player belongs to one clan at a time. This ensures clan loyalty is meaningful and that your energy is focused on building one team's territory. You can leave a clan and join or create a new one at any time.
How do I find other players?
Other players appear on the map near you as you explore. You can tap on a player's icon to view their profile and send a friend request. Meeting players at spontaneous events or while contesting territories is the most natural way to build your network.
What are the benefits of joining a clan?
Clan members can claim larger combined territories, share defense responsibilities, coordinate event attendance, and compete in clan vs clan territory wars. Solo players are strong, but clans can dominate entire districts.
