The Problem

Dog walks are routine.
They deserve to be more.

Twice a day, the same streets, the same block. Dog walking is one of the most consistent daily rituals for millions of pet owners — and yet it often remains a solitary experience. You might recognize the faces of neighborhood dogs, but rarely meet their owners. You discover new routes, but no one knows about them. You have your turf — but only in your own mind.

Existing dog walking apps solve the wrong problem. They track your steps or show nearby dog parks, but they don't build real connections. There's no living map of your neighborhood, no way to hear a message left by another dog owner around the corner, no system that makes your walk feel like it actually matters beyond your own health stats.

What dog owners need is a dog walking app community that doesn't just record — it connects. Where every walk has a playful consequence. Where claiming your territory is literally part of the game.

The Solution

MapRaiders for Dog Owners

🐾

Your GPS Turf

As you walk your dog, MapRaiders marks real GPS territories on the live map. Every street, park, and trail you cover becomes your turf — visible to every other player in the neighborhood.

🎙️

Dog Park Audio Echoes

Leave voice messages at dog parks, favorite trails, or regular spots. Other dog owners discover them when they pass by — asynchronous community anchored in real space and time.

🐕

Neighborhood Pack Clans

Team up with dog owners from your street or area. Together your walking routes cover more ground, your territory grows stronger, and your community becomes tighter. A pack mentality, gamified.

🗺️

Walk-along Quests

Create challenges for other dog walkers along your favorite routes, or solve quests hidden by others. Geocaching meets dog park socializing, without the physical containers.

How it works

3 steps to your walking adventure

1

Install the app and set your start point

Download MapRaiders on your Android phone. Grab the leash, head outside, and tap your starting point on the live map. Your territory begins from the first step you share.

2

Walk the dog — earn territory

Every meter covered with your dog appears on the map as your territory. Streets, parks, woodland paths — everything you and your dog explore belongs to your turf. Other players see it in real time and can challenge it.

3

Discover community and build your pack

Find audio echoes left by other dog owners, join a local clan, create quests along your favorite routes. The more regularly you walk, the stronger your influence in the neighborhood — and the more connections you make.

Who it's for

Built for everyone who goes out daily

For the city apartment dog owner who circles the same block twice a day and is finally ready for something more. The territory system gives each walk a mission: today you're pushing toward the park on the next block and locking it in for your clan.

For the dedicated daily walker — the retiree with two retrievers who's out for hours every morning — who craves a living neighborhood community. With MapRaiders they know every echo spot in the park, their clan includes the other regulars, and they can see who's out walking right now.

For families who walk the dog together as an activity. The kids play the quests, the adults claim territory — dog walking as a whole-family shared game with no screen addiction risk.

FAQ

Common questions from dog owners

Can I use MapRaiders on my daily dog walk?
Absolutely. MapRaiders is optimized for regular short distances — exactly like a typical dog walk. Whether you're out 15 minutes or an hour, every route earns you territories, points, and community interaction. Your dog gets extra motivation to go out.
Is it safe to use while walking my dog — do I need to watch the screen?
No screen-watching needed. MapRaiders runs in the background tracking your GPS. Your dog gets full attention. Audio echoes play through earbuds. You check the results after the walk, not during.
Can I find other dog owners in my neighborhood?
That's one of the core benefits. You see on the live map which territories belong to other players, can form clans with neighborhood dog owners, and leave audio echoes at parks that other walkers discover when they pass by.
Does the dog walking app community work in parks and forests?
Everywhere there's GPS signal. Parks, forests, neighborhoods, open fields — all GPS-accessible outdoor areas are playable. Large open spaces create especially valuable territories.
What are audio echoes for dog owners?
Voice messages anchored to GPS points. Leave a tip at the dog park, warn about a muddy patch, or drop a friendly greeting for other regulars. Others hear it automatically when they walk past that spot.
Is MapRaiders free?
100% free. No pay-to-win, no subscription, no battle pass. All dog walkers start equal — success comes from consistency and movement, not money.

From the Founder
I built MapRaiders because GPS games either force your wallet or leave you alone. Here every step shapes real territory — and every map becomes the social network of your city.
