Three internal beta testers from three German urban areas used MapRaiders for several weeks. Their reports are not marketing copy and there are no influencer promo codes. The reviews are translated from the German originals. The Indian native-tester wave is planned post-launch on a DPDPA-compliant programme.

Three people, three use cases

The three beta testers cover three very different personas, which is what makes the comparison to Pokémon GO honest:

Ron C. from the Stuttgart area: dog owner, daily walk, no gamer background.
Vivian N. from the Hamburg area: runner, tried Pokémon GO in 2018 and quit after three months.
Aljoscha P. from the Berlin area: urban explorer, Ingress veteran, knows the Niantic ecosystem firsthand.

All three tested MapRaiders independently. No paid promotion, no scripts. Quotes are translations from the German originals; Schema.org marks them with translationOfWork so anyone can verify. Indian native testers will join post-launch under a DPDPA-compliant programme.

I played Pokémon GO for three years and at some point I just stopped. What I missed never arrived: real land instead of fleeting gyms. When the Saudi takeover happened in 2025, it was clear to me that the Niantic model is not heading where I want to go. So I am building MapRaiders myself, in a way that runs properly on the phone most Indians actually own, not only on Tier-1 flagships. Ad-free, no investor pressure, no compulsory subscription. My mohalla is my playing field. Yours is yours to take.
